In season, I train at PHA 1x per week typically choosing the day with the skill that fits best into my weekly layout. I also try to train at TPH on ice 2x per week and in the gym 2x per week.
At PHA, I’ve found a home in a hockey environment that nurtures my mind, body, and spirit, while also pushing me competitively to grow both as a person and a player. The atmosphere created by the D’Elia family is unique—welcoming, supportive, and inclusive in a way that sets it apart from other hockey performance training programs. At PHA, I experience a perfect balance between academics and athletics. Through a partnership with Elite Edge, the program offers focused training that allows student-athletes to sharpen their skills. Each day emphasizes a different aspect of development, giving me the opportunity to work on specific areas where I need improvement. The environment at PHA fosters confidence and comfort, enabling me to push myself and continuously strive for excellence.
TPH provides a structured, textbook approach to my training, with the off-ice component designed around the natural progressions of the hockey season. What I appreciate most about TPH is the sense of security I feel in my training. The coaching staff brings credible experience from the NHL and NCAA, offering invaluable insights that I can apply to my own game. Working with TPH, I have complete confidence in their training curriculum and how it will help elevate my performance to the next level.
Test day took place in September and we tested benchmark speed with and without a puck. We will then retest at the end of the year to compare the numbers.
